Bonnie weakens over Gulf and no longer threatened the Gulf oil patch
Bonnie weakens over Gulf. Dave Roberts, a forecaster said “It’s rapidly degenerating into a remnant low”. Bonnie is no longer threatened the Gulf oil patch. He says the storm which weakened into a tropical depression on Friday, could fall apart completely before it makes landfall on Saturday evening.

Bonnie or familiar known as “Tropical Storm Bonnie” was a small tropical storm that made landfall on Florida in August 2004. This is the second storm in the Atlantic hurricane season in 2004 that made landfall on Florida in second position from the a record eight disturbances to reach tropical storm strength in August. Bonnie comes from a tropical wave on August 3 in the east of the Lesser Antilles. Bonnie was the first of five tropical systems to make landfall on Florida in the 2004 Atlantic hurricane season, and the second of a record eight disturbances to reach tropical storm strength during the month of August.
