Restore missing Folder Options

Many things caused missing folder options in Windows explorer. It usually caused by viruses. With hiding the folder option, the virus file can not bee seen and you will be hard to remove it. How to restore the missing folder option on Windows explorer can you read below.

1. Start run
Use keyboard combination

Window + R

2. Type text below

gpedit.msc

3. Press enter or click OK

4. Go to Windows explorer windows component trough line below

User Configuration > Administrative templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer

5. Click on Windows Explorer you will find the 3rd option on the right side of screen “Removes the Folder Option menu item from the Tools menu”. Check it, if it is not configured then change it to enable by double click on it and after applying again set it for not configured.

6. Restart your computer
