Chrome OS officially launched by Google
Google officially launched Google Chrome OS in Mountain View, California, Thursday (19/11). On that occasion, Google introduces the concept of Chrome OS in two-dimensional animation.
Chrome OS designed to realize fully system concept web-based computing that allow you access either connected via a PC, laptop, or mobile device via the internet. The Chrome OS has a similar view with the browser Chrome that’s previously has been issued by Google.
Intel be the one of processor producers participated in this project, although Intel not listed in Google’s partner in the Chrome OS project. The main purpose is making just one Intel Atom processor platform of choice of all these devices. Does Windows, Chrome OS, Moblin, or any other operating system does not seem to form the wedge for Intel to support it.
I have installed Chrome OS on one of my netbooks and the performance of Chrome OS is just okay. there is nothing fancy or very special about it. It was just a sort of GUI version of linux or something.
